Company Profile

Next Generation Foods was founded in 2006 by Michael Bosworth, a fifth
generation California farmer with a Masters in Agricultural and Resources
Economics from University of California, Davis. With great challenges
facing American farmers today, he felt he could use his extensive education
and deep roots in California agriculture, to help growers adapt to the
marketplace to maintain profitability.
He plans to "bridge" the gap between growers and consumers, allowing for a
more transparent relationship between the field and the table, in order to
better meet the needs of consumers. At the end of the day, the main goal of
the company is to allow family farmers to pass their farm and the farming
traditions on to the next generation.
Three Main Goals:
Create and maintain a market for value-added agricultural products from family
farms in the area, to increase their economic stability and help the farm to be
passed on to the next generation.
Educate the consumers about the wonderful foods that are being produced in
their communities.
Provide fresh, healthy food to consumers in our communities. Reconnect the
consumer with the farmer
